The event will take place in-person between 14:30-17:00pm PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) on Monday, June 29, 2026, the first-day of the COLT 2026 conference dedicated to workshops, tutorials, & community events.
The event will begin with a fireside chat with Sanjoy Dasgupta and Nika Haghtalab about their thoughts on research, mentorship, and how the discipline of machine learning theory has evolved during their careers. Following the fireside chat, we will have a mentorship roundtable event in which mentors can share their advice with attendees in small discussion groups.
To attend the event, a registration for COLT 2026 is necessary.
